Front Board is degtached. Rear Board is missing. The Signature of John Adams is on the inside of the front board. Bord shows age and wear. Inerior pages are brown and aged with interior edges rounded and tender. Interior also has marginalia, which could be editing notations. Spine appears to be sewn.

Volume contains Two Parts;

Part One: Second Congress of the United States. . First Sessions are chapters I-XLIV. Followed by the table of contents. Contents complete through page 175.

Part Two: Second Congress of the United States. Second Session. Pages begin at 177-292. Chapters are XLV-LLI. This section is missing pages 221-232. The Index is incomplete. There are five pages from Appropriations to Freeman.
