A personally penned letter from JFK to Jane Donovan. Jane was JFK's personal Secretary during his Senate years and assisted him in the writing of "Profiles in Courage". DC history states that Jane was the person who first coined the name "Profiles in Courage" and only after spirited discussions, did JFK opt to utilize that name. This letter was written while Kennedy was recouperating from back ailments in Palm Beach.
55 Penn Ave Gallery has been entrusted by Janes Estate to divest this letter. We are currently soliciting offers. It is scheduled (if not sold) to be included in an Auction currently being scheduled for late April of 2018. Please contact C. Dunican for additional details.
